A / If you are experiencing Optimum broadband problems that are affecting your normal service or have a specific problem with your product, there is also a dedicated 24/7 broadband faults line set up that will be available to you once you become a customer for this product.

15. Q / How long will it take to get the broadband installed and working?

A / On the date you are scheduled to have your daisy broadband line installed there may be a small downtime.
-If you are having broadband installed for the first time there should be no or very little downtime. We expect up to an hour, but this may be less
- If you are considering migrating a service from a previous supplier we estimate that there may be a downtime of up to 4 hours.

A/ Unfortunately the number is automatically generated for you and cannot be specifically selected.

21. Q / What are the upfront costs?

A / if you have ordered your Optimum broadband as a new connection with daisy there will be a one off new line install cost of £106.37. There will also be a standard connection fee of £34.99.

29. Q /If I have a problem / fault with my router that has not been purchased from daisy can you help?

A / Daisy cannot support any other router for this product than those specified. The main reason being that he recommended routers are of a required specification and quality to support the broadband product.

A / You should experience very little broadband downtime and in some cases none at all. In the event that you do experience some downtime, we estimate that it will take up to 1 hour for a new line provide and up to 4 hours for a line migration.

If you are using Windows XP or 2000 then your system should meet the minimum requirements as they are higher than what is needed to install our software.

55. Q/Why should I transfer my broadband supplier, it's a hassle?

A / daisy aim to have you up and running on daisy broadband within 10 working days.. The price savings on this deal outweigh the transfer process, and you will experience minimal disruption.

56. Q /Will I stay connected and online until I join daisy broadband?

A / We will keep you up to date with the latest progress and if and when you might be offline, this shouldn't be more than a couple of hours on the switchover date, although when we are migrating your service over to us we ask that you allow up to 4 hours downtime.

57. Q /What do I pay to get started?

A / A connection fee of £34.99. A new line install with daisy is £106.37, (the same as BT), If you are migrating from your existing provider to daisy there is no migration fee. Other monthly fees are your £11.95 monthly line rental & the cost of your chosen monthly broadband package.

58. Q/ Can I use the line for fax also?

A / Yes, you can use the same line for fax as you do for calls, therefore the number would be the same and the charges. We do recommend that the line is used mainly for broadband.

59. Q/ Do I get anything free if I sign up to a 3 year contract for Optimum broadband for a new installation?

A / If you sign up to a 3 year contract for this product with daisy we will not charge you the installation fee which is normally £106.37
